How to Audition

Portland Theatre Brigade has been cast for 2009-2010. Please join our email list and be one of the first to hear about next season’s auditions. Sign up for the email list here.

In September 2010 we will invite young people ages 7-15 to audition to become of this season's company of young actors. If you were born between October 1994 through September 2003, you will eligible to become a part of Theatre Brigade next year.

About Auditions
A Portland Theatre Brigade audition does not require professional headshots, resumes, prepared monologues, or any previous experience. We do ask you bring a copy of a recent photo — snapshots are fine — which we will keep for our files. Auditions last two hours. Parents/guardians are asked to drop off prospective Brigade members before the audition begins and and then stay for a short Theatre Brigade information session which should last no more than one hour. Current members who wish to return for another Brigade season will re-audition each year.

Our rehearsals spaces are provided through partnership with IFCC and Portland Public Schools.
