How to Audition

We invite young people ages 7-15 to audition to become of this season's company of young actors. If you were born between October 1995 through September 2003, you will eligible to become a part of Theatre Brigade this year.

Audition dates:

September 21 at Curious Comedy Theater (Northeast Portland)
September 23 at Theater! Theatre! Arena Stage (Southeast Portland)
September 25 at Curious Comedy Theater (North Portland)

Please register online or by calling 971 506 9163 with the young person's name, the parent/guardian's name, phone number at the date you'd like to audition.

A Portland Theatre Brigade audition does not require professional headshots, resumes, prepared monologues, or any previous experience. We do ask you bring a copy of a recent photo — snapshots are fine — which we will keep for our files. Auditions last two hours. Parents/guardians are asked to drop off prospective Brigade members before the audition begins and and then stay for a short Theatre Brigade information session which should last no more than one hour. Current members who wish to return for another Brigade season will re-audition each year.

Our rehearsals spaces are provided through partnership with Curious Comedy Theater and Portland Public Schools.
